lotsa kicking

Today was just a day of  rumbles and tumbles for Lexy. Oh firstly, let me make it clear that we don't know the gender yet....F2B wanted me to find out but I managed to stay that thought. Anyhow, sometimes I'll Lexy and other times it'll be Charlie....just because. So where was I, yes, today: so many kicks and elbows and who knows what else! This evening driving back Enrique Iglesias was playing on the radio and it really seemed like he/she was enjoying the music. Not for long thank goodness...that was a long wait in traffic. We remembered to eat and also take our f-acid today. The movement was all over in different areas, I dont know which direction Lexy is lying in and its hard to guess at this stage. Most often though, the kicks/bumps are on the right of belly (my right) and sometimes it is top right, just near to my breast. My tummy it seems is growing weekly that there is no point buying any clothes for myself because I will just grown out of it.

Newsflash mumba

(July 2010) No one expected it, least of all us. Oh but what wonderful news, and just after I'd returned from my trips around the country..bam smack in the middle of the year. Father2Be (F2B) was first to suggest that I might be pregnant; I was late by a week but I had been late before and a week wasn't much so being sensible about it I said "lets not get ahead of ourselves, give it another week". The following week still no sign and i was thinking..hmmmm maybe...just maybe....but still did not allow myself to think a definite YES until I'd done some tests. No point building up any hopes. F2B unknowing to me was just as anxious and asked if I'd done the home pregnancy test yet - I took one the next morning after some last minute second thoughts and it turned positive straight away. It still wasn't enough for me though so I decided to do a couple more. (there's another story but we wont go there). Needless to say, I settled for the result after the 2nd one came back positive as well......the 3rd kit is somewhere in the room!
